My lil garden..

Yah...today i'll share my tiny garden with u. we desired to have a large one but don't have enough space outside our home. So we decided to do it on rooftop. so, I have a rooftop garden that makes me happy like anything. We started gardening to heal our soul. doing all the tiny things together we forget all the lacking of life. Our small garden brings lots of color to our life.

We started this last winter. Still i can remember the afternoon roaming around for the pots, loong waiting in the nurseries for the shopkeeper (who left for lunch, but we guarded his nursery...:)..., bargaining with him for 5 Rs. I covered and searched all the nursery to get some new saplings.   

Still now i am very inefficient in soil preparation but am really enthusiastic. every day coming back from lab i count the leaves, buds and even petals. its really joyful when you see the buds ready to bloom. after long waiting finally the flowers bloomed...   

Do you know the name of the flowers in the pics? these are Dahlia, Pitunia, Cosmos, Mili, Ganjenia and Calendula. Aren't they sounds very nice? Start today of your own...you'll enjoy doing this!!!
